Sultan Pledges to Work With Three Kano Emirs

The Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Sa’adu Abubakar Pledged to work closely with Emirs of Karaye, Rano and Gaya Emirates Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar, Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa and Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulkadir of Kano state.

The Sultan made the pledged while receiving the three Emirs in his palace.

Alhaji Sa’adu Abubakar expressed delight for the visit and urged them to redouble their efforts in promoting Islamic religion and assisting their subjects for the betterment of their lives.

The Sultan said the visit is historic to him because he received his brothers from various Emirates in Kano state and told them to feel free, they are at home.

He commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for sponsoring the visit and assured that very soon he will reciprocate the gesture by visiting them in their Palaces.

Presenting the Emirs to the Sultan, on behalf of the state Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Special Adviser to the governor on Council of Emirs Affairs, Alhaji Tijjani Mai Lafiya Sanka expressed appreciation to the Sultan for accepting to received them in his palace.

Speaking on behalf of the Emirs of Rano and Gaya, the Emir of Karaye Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar said they were at the Sultan Palace to register their loyalty and thanked him for agreeing to received them.

Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero for co ordinating the visit.
