Diligent Nigerian musician Speed Darlington has spoken out after being detained and arrested for slandering Burna Boy, a senior colleague.
Burna Boy submitted an official complaint, which led to Darlington’s imprisonment.
He was charged with stalking and defaming the Grammy Award winner online.
After fulfilling the requirements for his bail imposed by the Abuja police, Darlington was given back to his attorney on Tuesday of last week.
Speed Darlington expressed his lack of regret for his ordeal during an Instagram live session, as he did not withdraw or apologize for his remarks regarding Burna Boy.
He further boosted his confidence by stating that the singer believed that he had spoiled everything for him and had worked so hard to get him arrested.
The popular guy, known as “Akpi,” said he felt more accomplished than Burna Boy, adding that the singer pays bloggers to push his works.
