Sokoto State APC leader State, Sen Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko (Sarkin Yamman Sokoto), has commiserated with the victims of the Sokoto Central Market fire inferno at the motorcycles and tricycles section of the market.
The fire that started in the early hours of Monday gutted many shops and stalls housing motorcycles.
Sen Wamakko, a former governor of the state while sympathizing with the victims, described the fire outbreak as the will of Allah and called on them to take heart.
Wamakko also used the medium to pray to Allah the almighty Allah to prevent the recurrence of the inferno.
He further explained that only God, the Almighty can do this to whom He wishes and at the time He so wishes.
Wamakko charged the victims to consider the incident as what Allah had already unavoidably ordained.
It could be recalled that a fire outbreak occurred at about 2 am in the early hours of Monday where several items including motorcycles, bicycles, and herbal medicines in the shops worth several millions of Naira were razed.
He expressed delight that no life was lost to the inferno.
The senator fervently prayed to Almighty Allah to replenish the colossal losses incurred by the affected traders.
