The Caretaker Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), in Goronyo Local Government of Sokoto State, Alhaji Kabiru Sarkin Fulani, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari, for rendering selfless service to Nigeria.
Sarkin Fulanin Goronyo said in a statement in Sokoto today Tuesday that, President Muhammadu Buhari has accorded top priority to the welfare and comfort of Nigerians.
The Chairman also commended the leader of the APC in Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, for his untiring efforts in working towards ensuring the growth and development of the party.
He described Wamakko, who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District as the indefatigable leader of the party not only in the State, but across the North west and Nigeria, in general.
Commenting on the forthcoming nationwide registration exercise of the party, the Chairman said that, it is a highly welcome development.
He averred that, Nigerians have been patiently waiting for the all-important exercise, saying, ” this is sequel to the nationwide acceptability of the APC.
“The exercise is very important, as the APC is the party to beat across Nigeria.
“I am therefore appealing to all the bona-fide members of the party in the State and across Nigeria, to come out en masse and participate in the exercise.”
Sarkin Fulanin Goronyo also wooed the members of the other political parties, to seize the ample opportunity to be provided by the registration exercise to join the APC.
On security, the Chairman acknowledged the tireless efforts of the federal government to tackle the security challenges, even as he solicited the support of all Nigerians, to effectively curb the menace.
