The Vice-Chancellor, Bayero University, Kano, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas has approved the appointment of Prof. Habu Mohammed Fagge as Director, Aminu Kano Centre for Democratic Studies, Mambayya House.
The appointment is for two years.
Professor Habu Fagge takes over from the immediate past Director of the Centre, Prof. Ismaila Zango whose tenure has expired.
Prof. Habu Fagge, a former Head of Political Science Department, Bayero University, Kano had his Ph.D. in 2007, MS.C in 1998, and BS.C in 1990 all in political science.
Before his appointment, he was Director of Bayero University Press, two-term Deputy Director (Research and Documentation) at Mambayya House, and Deputy Director of Strategic Planning Unit, BUK.
He is the Northwest Zonal Chairman of the Nigeria Political Science Association (NPSA) and has numerous publications in local and International Journals to his credit.
Prof. Mohammed also has edited a number of Books and contributed chapters to reputable Books.
