One Nation Festival Set to Take Lagos by Storm

The One Nation Festival, a music concert is set to take place in Lagos amidst fun fare.

Lagos is home to over 20 million people and over the years, the cosmopolitan city has played host to innumerable gospel musical events of renown like ‘The Experience, Unusual Praise’and other notable fiesta.

One Nation festival is billed to hold its maiden event at Muri Okunola Park, on January 1, 2024 and it targets to attract over 20,000 visitors and viewership, to make it the biggest gospel event in the world.

Titled ‘Moment with God,’ top-notch Gospel artistes playing different genres of music including Afrobeats, within and outside the continent, will perform at the programme.

According to the organiser, James Adeniyi in a statement, the concert is borne out of the need to enable people including youths and adults from across different cultures, languages and values to experience, explore and express the glory of God through music.

Adeniyi said, “One Nation Festival intends to bring all of us together annually, irrespective of your denomination or religion.

Its objective, among others, is to allow every participant to start the year with a highly elevated state of mind and nations to rejuvenate their love and intimacy for God,” .

The programme would feature comedy and dance sessions alongside musical renditions, ranging from traditional gospel sounds to afrobeat songs that are edifying and lift people’s spirits.

The event participation is free, and one only has to register online through the event website. The organisers stated that business activities are welcome and that interested vendors could register in order to be eligible to sell or promote their edifying products on the day.
