NPFL: Pillars Fc Moves to Third Position

Kano Pillars Fc defeated Dakkada Fc by 2-0 in the match day 33 in the ongoing 2020/2021 Npfl season on Sunday at Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna and moved to third position in the table with 58 points.

Rabi’u Ali aka Pele put sai masu gida ahead in the 38 minutes of play after receiving a long pass from Yusuf Bala Maigoro inside the box.

Two minutes after, David Ebuka scored the second goal with assistance from legend Rabi’u Ali.

In his post-match interview, Kano Pillars Fc Acting Technical Adviser, Ibrahim A. Musa commended his players for utilizing the opportunities they get and finished the match on time.

Coach Ibrahim said he still have confidence that Kano Pillars Fc can win the league at the end of the season considering how the race is going so far.

“Not only the league, I’m optimistic that we can win both league and the Aiteo Cup,” Coach Ibrahim said.

He thanked the teaming fans of the club for their untiring support and prayers to the team and urged them to sustain the tempo adding that they would not disappoint government and good people of Kano state at the end of the season.

On his part, Captain of Kano Pillars Fc, Rabi’u Ali aka Pele dedicated the victory to collect efforts of players, technical crew, management, fans and Kano state government for its financial support to the team.

Rabi’u Ali said gradually the team is moving forward and by God grace they would finish on top of the table.

According to the Media officer of the club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, with this development, Rabi’u Ali is the top scorer of the club with 13 goals in 33 matches.
