Nigeria’s Tallest Flag in Jigawa, Symbol of Pride – Lai Muhammad

The Minister of information, Alhaji Lai. Muhammad has described the tallest Nigerian flag erected at Malam Alu Farm in Birnin-kudu as a symbol of National pride that can be registered into the list of National Monuments.

The Minister stated this during his official inspection visit to the site of the flag in Malam Alu Farm Birnin-kudu Local Government Area in Jigawa State.

He said normally national flag is erected by officials, but the tallest flag was elected by individual.  

“In fact, this flag demonstrated the deep sense of National patriotism Hon Adamu Aliyu has and it is worthy of emulation.

“The agricultural investment in Malam Alu farm and other part of the state is a clear example of the success of Federal government agricultural revolution policy, “in deed Jigawa is reference point, ” Lai Muhammad declared

The minister than urged Hon Faruku Adamu to approve for Federal government to include the flag in the list of National monuments for national and international visitors.

In his speech during the Minister’s visit to the farm, Jigawa state Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar said, Malam Alu- agro allied farm is one of the thousand of agric investment made by Jigawa people in answering the clarion call of president Muhammad Buhari who said ” We must produce what we eat and we must eat what we produced. “

Governor Badaru then promised to continue supporting small- and large-scale farmers in the state to boost their production through adopting modern agricultural practice.

Responding, Hon Faruku Adamu said the flag was designed by a Yoruba Engr, erected with the support of an Igbo man, hosted and sponsored by a Fulani man.

He said Nigeria has all human and natural resource which if developed along national patriotism, unity and love the country would be the happiest society for all.
