Following a submission made to Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje OFR in respect of the forthcoming NECO/NBAIS Examinations, the State Commissioner of Education, Malam Muhammad Sanusi Sa’aid Kiru has directed for the re-opening of all Public and Private Secondary Schools to participate in NECO/ NBAIS Examinations.
A statement signed by Aliyu Yusuf, Chief Public Relations Officer, Ministry of Education Kano state said the Hon. Commissioner therefore, directed the Executive Secretary, Kano State Secondary Schools Management Board (KSSSMB) and that of Science & Technical Schools Board to ensure that SS3 Students in boarding schools return on Sunday, 20th September, 2020 while SS3 Students in Day Schools should resume on Monday, 21st September, 2020 to have sufficient time for review and biometric documentations of all the candidates.
According to the statement, all Directors and Principals of the concerned schools are further employed to ensure full compliance with the Covid-19 protocols by all staff and students.
