Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has commissioned 100 housing units in the first phase of Nasarawa Technology Village Housing Estate, Karu.
He also performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the Technology Hub and the Second Phase of the Housing Project situated on a 67-hectare parcel of land along the Mararaba-Aso Pada axis of Karu LGA.
Zulum was in Karu at the invitation of the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi A Sule, on Monday and returned to Maiduguri the same day.
He lauded Engr Abdullahi A Sule for the giant strides recorded by his administration in the last five years in Nasarawa State.
Zulum noted that the technology village will help Nasarawa State to exploit its vast mineral resources and create job opportunities for the teeming youth population.
The host Governor, Sule, expressed gratitude to Professor Zulum for accepting his invitation to commission the completed housing project and lay the groundwork for the second phase of the Mararaba-Aso Pada axis.
