The Gawauna/Garo Governorship campaign has on Tuesday moved to Rano Emirate where a mammoth crowd of people turned out to attend the rally.

Addressing the crowd in Rano town, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who is also the APC leader in the state, said his Administration had brought growth and development in the state through the provision of infrastructure, among other things.

Ganduje also said that the APC Administration had restored the historic status of the Rano Emirate with its first-class Emir for the development of the people of the area.

He, therefore, urged the people of the Emirate to vote for the APC Governorship Candidate, Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawauna, and His Running Mate, Hon. Murtala Sule Garo to enable them to continue with the laudable programs of his Administration.

In his address, Gawauna said he would continue with the progressive programs of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, which include youth and women empowerment.

He urged the people of the zone to vote for him and his Running Mate so as to continue with the program of the Ganduje Administration for sustained growth and development of the state.

Earlier, the State APC Chairman, Prince Abdullahi Abbas said the mass turnout of people for the campaign was a testimony that the APC would win the Senatorial, Governorship, House of Representatives, as well as the State Assembly elections in the Kano South Senatorial zone.

He said contrary to the speculations of members of the opposition, the incumbent Senator from the zone, Kabiru Gaya, would win the forthcoming Senatorial election,” and would continue to win and win, God willing.”

Abbas, therefore, urged the people of the area to vote for the APC candidates for development to continue to thrive.

Major highlights of the campaign rally included the presentation of APC flags to Senatorial, House of Representatives, and State Assembly Candidates from the zone by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
