KNSG Signs MoU with NAEAP to Train Teachers and School Administrators

The Commissioner of Education, Malam Muhammad Sanusi Sa’id Kiru has on behalf of the Kano state government signed an MoU with the Nigerian Association for Education Administration and Planning (NAEAP) as capacity building consultants for the state education sector.

Speaking during the ceremony, the commissioner said that such collaboration has became imperative considering the need to reinvigorate the sector.

He pointed out that coming into contact with NAEAP as a professional consultancy firm in education, has raised the confidence of the ministry to endorse their services to the state government as consultant.

The Ministry’s spokesperson, Aliyu Yusuf in a statement, Friday, said the Commissioner noted with appreciation the first and second projects handled by the NAEAP for the training of Head Teachers and that of 600 Principals/Directors of Secondary Schools on Alternative Source of School Financing, Resource and Improvisation as motivating factor considering the quality of the resource persons.

He therefore, congratulated NAEAP for the confidence reposed on them by the Kano state government and urge them to do their best when ever their services are needed.

In his response, Prof. Bello A. Bello, the Chief Consultant of the firm, expresses gratitude to Kano state government through the Ministry of Education by extending its hands of collaboration with their firm.

Prof. Bello promises that as an outfit that has the mandate of training all sort of personnel in the education sector, they will discharge their duties diligently when ever the need arises.

He then congratulated the state Commissioner of Education, Malam Muhammad Sanusi Sa’id Kiru for his indelible records of performances in the state education sector.

Also, in his brief remark, the Grand Patron of NAEAP and a renown University lecturer, Prof. S.O Olubadewo described the commissioner as an indefatigable leader who is working tirelessly in seeing to the development of education in Kano State.

According to the statement, Prof. Olubadewo further described the Commissioner as brilliant, humble, focused, workaholic and patriotic young man who is by all standard a blessing to the state education sector.

He gave the assurance that NAEAP will not disappoint Kano state government, as they will discharge their services to the best of their abilities.
