KNSG Provides 500KVA Transformer to Mariri – Gado Community

Kano State Government has provided 500KVA capacity new brand transformer to Mariri – Gado community in Kumbotso Local Government Area (LAG).

This was contained in a statement by the Information officer, Ministry for Rural and Community Development, Lawan Hamisu Danhassan.

According to the statement, while presenting the new transformer to the community, the state commissioner Ministry for Rural and Community Development, Dr Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso said the move is part of government determination to improve the living standard of people of the state.

Dr Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso also expressed government’s readiness to develop rural areas through the provision of basic amenities across the state.

The commissioner commended the people of the state for their usual support and prayers to the present administration, urging them to maintain the tempo, the statement said.

Earlier in their sperate remarks, the Council Chairman, Kumbotso LGA, Alhaji Hassan Garba Kauye Marawa and the Managing Director, Rural Electricity Board, Alh Garba uba Danbayye Ajingi expressed their happiness for the gesture and pledged to look into their complaints with a view of addressing them.

In his vote of thanks, the village head of Mariri Gado, Alh Saminu Garba Madaki commended governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his commitments to people-oriented projects.

The village head then urged the state government to rehabilitate their old abandoned road project from Mariri to Juma in Kumbotso local government area and repairs of some faulty transformers to enable their youths boost their local businesses.
