Karaye Emir Appoints Saleh Musa Saleh Kwankwaso as District Head

The Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II has confirmed Alhaji Saleh Musa Saleh Kwankwaso (Baba) with the title of Makama of Karaye and District Head of Madobi.

He is also Karaye Emirate Council Member and Kingmaker of Karaye Kingdom. 

The Information Officer, Karaye emirate council, Haruna Gunduwawa in a signed statement said the appointment was recommended and duly approved at this year’s first meeting of the Karaye Emirate Council held, Wednesday.  

The meeting also applauded his Royal Highness for his foresight and honouring the family of late Makama of Karaye, the statement said.

While congratulating the new Makama enjoined him to continue from where his late father stopped. Adding that, late Musa Saleh Kwankwaso is complete gentleman, Loyal, just and peace lover and Committed lead who championed the course of his people. 

According to the statement, Alhaji Saleh Musa Saleh Kwankwaso (Baba) who is Junior brother of former Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso inherited his Late father Alhaji Musa Saleh Kwankwaso died recently. 

A national Diploma holder in building engineering Alhaji Musa Kwankwaso, was born in the year 1964 and until the appointment is the Village Head of Kwankwaso in Madobi local government area.

The new Makama of Karaye has been representing his Late father in Royal activities including in the Karaye Emir’s palace for over twenty years. 

The formal installation of the new Makama of Karaye would follow the blessings and approval of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to that effect.
