Since assuming office, Governor Abba Kabir said the administration has taken significant steps in the direction of digitization, as operations of the Kano Geographic Information System (KANGIS) have been strengthened and digitized.

Dr. Bosun Tijjani the minister of Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy outlined a strategic blueprint encompassing five pillars: knowledge, policy, infrastructure, innovation, entrepreneurship & capital (IEC)/trade.

These pillars form the foundation of the government’s strategy to enable economic growth and ICT development in Nigeria.

The Minister underscored the importance of collective responsibility in harnessing the transformative power of innovation and technology to accelerate development, positioning Nigeria at the forefront of the global digital discourse.

“We must produce world class workforce that can allow technology to thrive. We cannot deliver on our mandate as a country, if we don’t have the workforce to do so.
