Kano State PHCMB Trains Supervisors on DRF operation

Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board (PHCMB) has reaffirmed commitment in training it’s Staff to be more efficient in the operation of the drug revolving fund (DRF) program.

The Information Officer, PHCMB, Maikudi Muhammad Marafa in a statement said the Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Tijjani Hussain made the disclosure while declaring a three-day training workshop for Integrated Supportive Supervisors (ISS) on DRF held at the Board’s Conference Hall.

Dr. Tijjani Hussain who was represented by the Director, Pharmaceutical Services, Pharmacist Abdul’aziz Hamisu explained that, the training will assist the participants on the mode of operation of the DRF, Drug Management System and Financial Management System.

He therefore urged the participants to be committed and apply what they have acquired at the training in the discharge of their duties.

In his remark earlier, the officer in charge of the Program, Malam Muhammad Bello Dandago commended the Board for organizing the workshop and assured of effective monitoring of DRF Program in the state.
