Ganduje Approves Re-opening of Health Training Institutions

The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the re-opening of all public and private health training institutions in the State on 18th January, 2021.

Accordingly, the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, has instructed the re-opening of all public and private health training institutions in the state.

A statement signed, Friday, by the Information Officer, Ministry of Health, Hadiza Mustapha Namadi said the institutions include Schools of Basic/Post Basic Nursing and Midwifery, Schools of Health Technology and School of Hygiene.

Dr. Tsanyawa called on the management of the institutions to ensure strict adherence to the COVID 19 protocols.

In the statement, the Commissioner also called on the good people of the State to continue to wear face masks, wash hands regularly with soap and water, use of hand sanitizer, and maintain social distance to control the spread of the disease.
