Every circle has a tangent

There is a difference between being a dot in a circle and having been the hen laying Nigeria’s golden eggs since 1956.

If you are IPOB you get spoken to in the language you understand. But, if you are Niger Delta Avengers nobody speaks to you anyhow. Instead, you get appealed to and politely assured your demands are being looked into.

You do not need political acumen to sell spare-parts. You however need a strategic alliance to remain politically relevant in the market.

“A dog and a cockerel having made friends, were strolling along a road together.

As evening fell, the cockerel flew up into the tree to sleep there, and the dog went to sleep at the foot of the tree, which was hollow.

According to his habit, the cockerel crowed just before daybreak. This alerted a fox nearby, who ran up the tree and called up to the cockerel:

‘Do come down, sir, for I dearly wish to embrace a creature who could have such a beautiful voice as you’

The cockerel said:

‘I shall come down when as soon as you awaken my doorkeeper who is asleep at the foot of the tree’

Then, as the fox went to look for the doorkeeper, the dog pounced briskly on him and tore him to pieces.”
