Man Utd failed to win a match in major European competition in which they had a two-goal lead for the first time since a 3-3 draw with Basel in September 2011.

Sevilla scored a 90th-minute equalizing goal in a match in a major European competition for the first time since March 2021 against Borussia Dortmund.

Man Utd remain unbeaten in their last 25 home games in all competitions, winning 21 and drawing four.

Sevilla have only won one of their 11 away games at English clubs in all European competitions (D5 L5).

Marcel Sabitzer has scored more goals in his 13 games for Man Utd in all competitions (3) than in 54 appearances for FC Bayern München (2). The Austrian scored his first brace since March 2020 for RB Leipzig against Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League.

Since his Man Utd debut in February 2020, Bruno Fernandes is one of just two players in the big-five European leagues to register at least 50 goals (60) and 50 assists (50) across all competitions, after Lionel Messi (80G, 59A).

Manchester United were only the second English side to score two own goals in a single match in a major European competition, after Chelsea against Erik ten Hag’s Ajax in November 2019.
