Eid: Nigerians Should Have Hope, we Shall Overcome Problems – Kano CAN

The Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kano State Chapter, Rev. Adeolu Samuel Adeyemo, in his Eid-el-fitr message, says: “As we mark this sallah, we should have hope in God and not give up on issues in facing the nation, we shall surely overcome and pass-over this phase in the life and history of our nation.

“Our dear Muslim Umma, it is our sincere prayers that God will rescue all those in the kidnappers’ den and shedding of young innocent blood will come to an end in the states of Nigeria.  

“At such a time as this, we remember our fallen heroes, men and women of the military, Police and civilian JTF who died defending the citizens from the wickedness of evil terrorist groups.

“May God comfort the hearts and mind of their widows and parents with his peace. May God continue to protect and preserve us from evil and continue to bless us in all ramifications

“It is with Joy on behalf of the entire Christian community, the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Kano State Chapter rejoices and congratulates our Muslim brothers and sisters, His Royal Highness the Emir of Kano Alh. Aminu Ado Bayero and Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.”

According to him, it was a time of self denial, sacrifice and to intensify seeking the face of Allah in prayer on issues bothering on the family and individual needs, peace and security in Kano State, the state of the nation as ravaged with different shades of destructive insecurity by Killer bandits and herdsmen, kidnappers and terrorist and the need for good governance and much more.

“I joined faith with the Muslim Umma that Allah has accepted your prayers and shall reward you exceedingly and abundantly with answers to all these requests and much more.

“We must not relent in prayers for the peace and security of our nation. Let us continue to live lives that reflect the gains of the Ramadan and let us commit ourselves to Loving our neighbours irrespective of tribe and religion and let all of us be agent of peaceful coexistence and be united on all fronts to defeat our common enemy.

“We sincerely congratulate our fatherly technocrat Governor, His Deputy, Our Royal Highness, the Emir of Kano and the entire Muslim Umma for being alive to celebrate Year 2021 Sallah.”
