DTRBN Lauds Kano for Establishing 21 Dental Clinics

The Dental Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN) has lauded the Kano State Government for the establishment of 21 dental clinics in the state.

The Registrar, DTRBN, Mrs. Mercy Ojo disclosed this during a visit to the Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board (KSPHCMB).

She said the Board has observed with interest on how the state government has established dental clinics and equipped them with state-of-the-art equipment worth millions of Naira.

According to the Board Registrar, through this gesture, the state could beat its chest to ranking among the best in the country.

Another commendable effort according to the Registrar is the effort towards ensuring that Kano state is leading in encouraging its members to register with the national board.

Miss Ojo then commended the KSPHCMB for the warm reception accorded to them and later presented an award to the Executive Secretary.

In his remarks, the Executive Secretary, KSPHCMB, Dr. Tijjani Hussaini disclosed that the state government has allotted a huge amount to uplift the primary health care sector.

He assured of the continued support for the smooth operation of the newly established dental clinics.

Dr. Hussaini then thanked the delegation for the visit and assured them of more commitment to enhancing the dental clinics to perform effectively.
