A Man and three children were confirmed killed at different incidents in Jigawa state.
The Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), Jigawa State Police Command, SP Abdul Jinjiri revealed that one suspect was arrested in connection to the reported murder cases that happened last week.
He narrated that, the first murder case happened at Wuro Jugga settlement in Guri Local Government Area (LGA), where one Abdu Musa aged 30, killed his younger brother Amadu Musa, using stick and knife.
Jinjiri noted that, the suspect who has mental disorder engaged the decease in a fight for unknown reason and on arrival at the scene, the Police found the corpse of the younger brother.
“the corpse of the decease has been released to the family while efforts are on to track and arrest the fleeing suspect,” he added.
The PPRO also revealed that, Police have received a report of another murder case from Dankargo village, Jahun LGA of the state where a suspected insane 30-year-old man, Alhasan Ya’u slaughtered his one-year old biological child, Sani Alhassan.
He said the suspect whose madness comes periodically was arrested and arrangements has been concluded to take him to Kazaure psychiatric hospital for medical assessment.
“The family of Muhammad Abdulkadir of Kofar Fada quarters in Guri LGA lost their two children in an inferno that gut down their house in the midnight of last Tuesday.”
“The two children were burnt to death by the fire including Hauwa Mohd Abdulkadir and Ibrahim Mohd Abdulkadir,” SP Jinjiri narrated.
