In a civil fraud case initiated by the attorney general of New York State, Donald Trump was found guilty of manipulating his net worth. As a result, a New York judge formally ordered him to pay more than $454 million. During a three-month-long nonjury trial, Justice Arthur Engoron of the Manhattan State Court imposed a $354.9 million penalty on February 16 along with interest.
