The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kano State Council has congratulated Hisham Habib on his appointment as the Managing Director (MD) of Radio Kano by His Excellency Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
In a jointly signed congratulatory message on Wednesday, the Chairman and Secretary of NUJ Kano Council, Comrade Abbas Ibrahim, and Comrade Abba Murtala described the appointment as well deserved.
“We are confident that due to your track records, you will reposition the 78-year-old Radio Station that had produced ace broadcasters to its appropriate status.
“As we pledge to give you the necessary support in the tasks ahead, we equally hope you will carry colleagues along to achieve desired goals.
“We wish you Allah’s guidance and everything Good in your new assignment.”
