The Emir of Bichi Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero charged village, Ward heads, and Friday Imams in his Emirate to tighten their belts in educating and protecting the interest of their subjects according to the Islamic rites.
The Emir made the call while presenting certificates of attendance of a three-month capacity-building workshop organized by his Emirate to over three thousand villages, Ward heads, Imams, and their deputies at the Emir Palace Bichi.
Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero said the workshop was organized to impact more knowledge to the village, Ward heads, and Friday Imams in the Emirate that would assist them in discharging their duties.
He charged them to use what they have learned accordingly and reminded them that transparency in their daily dealings which is why their people are always respecting them urging them to sustain the tempo.
The Emir also urged them to redoubtable effort in educating and mobilizing their subjects on the need to always discharge their daily engagements in line with the teachings of the holy Prophet Muhammad S. A. W.
He commended the organizing committee of the workshop under the leadership of Madakin Bichi, and Alhaji Nura Shehu Ahmad for their dedication and sacrifice for the successful conduct of the workshop.
Earlier, the Chairman of the organizing committee and District Head of Bagwai, Alhaji Nura Shehu Ahmad thanked the Emir for sponsoring the workshop which he said come at the right time.
He expressed appreciation for how the participants conducted themselves throughout the period of the workshop.
