The State Executives of All Progressives Congress (APC) Sokoto state chapter has affirmed their loyalty to the Sokoto state Governor Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto.
The State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Isah Sadeeq Achida while leading the party chieftains on a courtesy visit to the Governor Thursday said the entire members of the party in the state are solely behind the Governor.
He said the party leadership would to work hard to ensure the success of APC administration in the state, saying that the recent dissolution of ill-timed appointments made by the immediate past administration in the state is highly appreciated by party.
Achida said they were at Government House to expressed their unalloyed support and solidarity to the Governor as number one citizen in the state, who fought hard to ensure victory of the party in the last general election.
He said APC supporters in the state would continue to support and offer useful suggestions to the Governor in areas where they deem necessary.
The state Governor Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto while responding to remarks by the party chairman, said his administration would partner with the leadership of the APC in the state in a bid to move the state to a greater height.
The governor said APC as a ruling party in the state would work tirelessly to restore the lost glory of the state, which was formerly adjudged as the most peaceful in the country.
He said the 9 points agenda set up by his administration would be assiduously followed with a view to rebrand the state so as to compute favourably with other states of the federation.
Aliyu however commended the teaming supporters of the APC in the state for their loyalty and patience as the party journey towards success during the last eleçtionearing campaigns.
“We will do everything possible to support you and the party.
“The people of the state will continue to change in the daily administration of the state,” the Governor said
