“The project is aimed at building the student’s capacity to be part of the vanguard for fighting against global warming and other environmental degradation threatening human life and the entire ecosystem.

“The research is expected to help in finding out the major environmental challenges in every community and also share the research findings with the community to enable them to understand the risk and also join their hands in tackling the problem,” the statement revealed

However, according to the statement, engaging the young generation in Climate Change Risk Research and sharing the findings with the immediate community will help in providing sustainable solutions to the problem.

The project is financed by other donor partners including; Climate Risk Research Foundation, Sustainable Solutions for Green Growth, the Linux Foundation’s OS-Climate, AWS, Generation Humanity, London Stock Exchange, Open Earth Foundation, and Green Energy Mission Africa.
