The death of Hajia Audu Bako has been announced.
She was the wife of the first governor of Kano State under a military regime, Commissioner of Police (CP) Audu Bako.
Her death was confirmed on Wednesday by her daughter Zainab Bako.
She said the nonagenarian died at the age of 93 at Prime Specialist Hospital in Kano after a protracted illness.
Stallion Times gathered that the funeral rites of Hajia Ladi Bako will take place at Emir’s Palace, Kofar Kudu, Kano.
