Jigawa State Governor-elect Malam Umar Namadi along with his running mate, Engr Aminu Ahmed received their certificates of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday.
Others who received their certificate from the state INEC headquarters were 27 newly elected members state house of Assembly.
However, INEC has withheld the certificate of three constituencies namely Birnin Kudu, Dutse, and Yankwashi where their election was declared inconclusive.
In his speech, after receiving the certificate the governor-elect Malam Umar Namadi described his victory as a victory for all good people of Jigawa state.
Malam Namadi promised to operate an all-inclusive and listening government that will take advice and complaints from all good people of Jigawa state.
He however thanked the Jigawa people for the confidence they have in him and the All Progressive Congress (APC) Government that transformed the state under the leadership of Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar
