Nigeria’s defeat by Guinea-Bissau on Friday prompted a mixed reaction from Super Eagles supporters, with some not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
There was humor aplenty among Nigeria supporters on the final whistle, but also a fair share of angry as the Eagles’ failings were laid bare in Abuja.
Some of the Super Eagles also came in for criticism following some poor performances, with the midfield in particular being singled out.

“I know how angry and disappointed Nigerians are, especially those that did betting,” they began. “To be frank with you, I stopped watching Super Chicken games long time ago.
“But today, they flew up a bit, they were Super Pigeons today,” he continued. “They need more time to blend together.”
