The State Commissioner of Police, CP Useni Gumel said more efforts are required to sustain the marvelous achievements recorded during last Saturday’s Eleçtions.

“Political-Heavy Weights, Traditional and Religious institutions should prevail on the citizens and followers of political parties to obey the laws and avoid acts capable of disrupting the peaceful nature of the State.

“It’s in view of the foregoing, that I wish to notify all citizens that ICCES in Sokoto State has deployed all its operational and intelligence assets and personnel to checkmate any unwanted act of mayhem by any group in support or against the announcement of the Eleçtion result in the State.
