Sokoto North Local Government Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Alhaji Bello Mai Karfi who recently left the party to the All Progressives Congress (APC) has returned to the PDP.
Karfi who resigned from his Chairmanship position and defected to APC has also been reinstated to his former position of Chairman.
He was received back to the PDP by the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
Karfi described PDP as a party supported by all Nigerians who love the development of the country.
He said the PDP would rescue the country from the numerous problems caused by the APC’s failed Federal Government and rescue Nigerians from the hardship being experienced as a result of bad leadership.
He thanked the leaders of the PDP for providing exemplary leadership and also expressed gratitude to Governor Tambuwal for his efforts in bringing positive development to the state.
Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, the State PDP Publicity Secretary in a statement quoted the Sokoto State PDP Chairman, Hon Bello Aliyu Goronyo giving assurance that Karfi would enjoy the recognition of the Party.
The Chairman congratulated him for making a wise decision and called on all the Party supporters to come out en-masse during the forthcoming general election to vote for PDP candidates at all levels.
