Okowa Appoints Former SWAN Chairman, Edoreh as SSA Community Development

The Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa has appointed former Lagos State Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Chairman, Mr. Fred Edoreh as his Senior Special Assistant on community development.

According to the statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Delta State, Chief Patrick Ukah, the appointment takes effect from 2nd February 2023.

The appointment of Mr. Fred Edoreh was based on merit considering his outstanding performances in serving humanity.

Governor Okowa then congratulates him on the appointment and wished him a successful tenure in office.

Responding shortly after receiving the appointment letter,  Mr. Edoreh thanked Governor Okowa who doubles as running mate to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for considering him worthy and appointed him as his Senior Special Assistant on community development.

Mr. Edoreh pledge to do his best to justify the confidence reposed in him by the governor.
