Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has granted approval for the release of One hundred and Forty Million Naira (N140m) to civil servants in the state as car, motorcycle, and furniture loans.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Hon. Commissioner of Finance, Ibrahim Muhammad Augie made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Friday.
According to the statement, the loan is to be disbursed to eligible civil servants as car, motorcycle, and furniture loans in respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, MDAs to be repaid within five years without any interest, (interest-free loan).
The gesture by the Governor is part of his sustained effort to boost the morale of Civil servants towards improving their performance.
Civil servants are therefore expected to reciprocate this kind gesture by the governor to be dedicated to their duties.
