The National Coordinator of All Progressive Congress (APC) Ahmed Bola Tinubu S7-4-BATs 2023 campaign train, Alhaji Kabir Sani Gaint has accused the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefele of conniving with the opposition parties to sabotage the efforts of this present administration most especially on the issue of redesigned new Naira notes.
Addressing journalists on Sunday in Birnin Kebbi, the National Chairman said that the decision of the CBN Governor is to cause hardship in the country and pave way for the opposition parties to win the forthcoming next month’s general elections.
Gaint who is also a Chieftain of APC in the state lamented over the ugly acts by the CBN Governor for using some cabal in the Buhari cabinet to change people’s minds in voting APC, “You have succeeded in causing hardship in the country so that the electorate would be discouraged in supporting APC, you have poison the minds of Nigerians not to support our party presidential candidate.
“Our President should be very careful with the CBN Governor as he did not mean well for his administration, he was used by some group of people who are his enemies and doesn’t mean good for him.”
Gaint also emphasized that the CBN Governor deceived President Buhari on the new currency in other for them to fulfill his aspiration with the opposition parties, “Inshallah God will disappoint them and he will equally put wisdom on Nigerians to love APC.”
He explained with dismay how President Buhari was cajoled to accept the monetary policy, we knew everything and by the Grace of God, they would not succeed.
“We are calling on President Buhari to urgently remove the CBN Governor from office or else we would force him out of office by protesting and using other means of communication, he must step down and allow whoever is capable to handle the office,” he explains.
The group coordinator said that the present situation has indicated that President Buhari is not in support of his party candidatures but Alhah will surprise him and also those that are behind the development.
“People’s suffering was created deliberately by the enemies of this country to make the masses hate Buhari; EmefIele should be arrested,” he added.
