The Kano State Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Tahar Adam also known as Baba Impossible said he resigned from his appointment voluntarily; he was not sacked as reported by the state government.

Stallion Times reports that the State Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba issued a statement on Saturday announcing the sacking of Baba Impossible, the Commissioner for Religious Affairs.

But in a swift reaction in an interview with Freedom Radio on Saturday, Baba Impossible said he was surprised over the news of the sack.

He maintained that he submitted his letter of resignation on Friday, December, 30th 2022, to Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji.

He said: ‘’Alhaji Usman Alhaji collected my resignation letter and stamped it. I also went to the office of the Chief of Staff, who is also the Head of Service, and he stamped the letter.”
