Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has splashed a whopping sum of N149 million on a customized diamond pendant.
Davido is a lover of luxury items and the latest acquisition comes a few days after he performed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony.
The pendant was shared by his ally, Tunde Ednut, stating that the jewelry is worth $200,000 and is a beautiful way to end the year.
He wrote: “What a way to end the year 2022? FIFA boy, DAVIDO’S brand new EMERALD Custom Piece with OVER 70cts of Diamonds is ready. This chain worth $200,000. Damn! $200,000 = N149,000,000″
Amidst the congratulatory messages, some netizens berated Davido over the acquisition stating it is too early considering the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
