Kogi famous Philanthropist and Business mogul, Pharm. Peter Yakubu Iduh has expressed concern about the high level of moral Decadence of youths in the state.

Speaking in Idah, his country home during the conferment of an award of Community Service on him by Kogi Progressive Ambassadors (KPA), High Chief Peter Iduh, opined that morality as a virtue had been neglected by youths for the love of money, and the quest for political relevance and gains, at the expense of societal norms and values.

Iduh, observes that decadents in the various communities had fast become working tools in the hands of selfish politicians who orchestrate violence and disunity among the people of different cultural backgrounds in the state, the decadents in our midst, he says, jettison hard work, decency of character and integrity with antinomian behaviors in the society.

Iduh, challenged the youth to influence leadership positively with innovative ideas that will engender transformational leadership in Kogi state by preparing themselves for greater responsibility in political Leadership.

This, he says can be achieved if the youth make themselves morally and politically responsible in the scheme of things, adding that; ” Leadership should not be measured by one’s size or age, but the contents of one’s intellect”, he notes with high emotions on the leadership conundrum in the country.

While admonishing youths against social vices and political rascality by political rascals, he berates youth involvement in social vices and political misdemeanors in the name of playing politics.

“We must not play politics with bitterness, but we must learn to play politics of constructive engagement for inclusive development,” he retorted.

The Chairman and Chief Executive of Iduh Integrated Integrated Services with business interests in Pharmaceuticals, Imports, Manufacturing, and product distribution spanning nearly two decades of unblemished business record, says success is a product of hard work and enjoined youths to strive for success and excellence in business, politics and other areas of interest that could be beneficial to Society and humanity.

Chief Iduh, conceded to the request of the youth organization (KPA) for mentorship for youth development in the area of entrepreneurial Skills development, business leadership, and Community development service, which the astute businessman is known for across Igala land.

Iduh promised to offer necessary assistance to youths in the area with exposure to the opportunities and challenges in the business world for competitive relevance through innovative business ideas towards impact-driven economic activities.

Earlier, the Leader of the youth movement, Amb. A. A Ismaila requested for partnership in the area of youth Mentorship for sustained development.

Pharm. Iduh, told the youth that while growing up, morals were the ‘ultimate’ in the good old days when high morals had a pride of place in upbringings.

He was conferred with an award for Humanitarian Service.
