Emir of Bichi Sympathizes With Victims of Badume Market Inferno

The Emir of Bichi, HRH Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero has described the fire outbreak at Badume market in Bichi Local Government Area as a disastrous accident to the economy of the emirate.

The Emir who paid a sympathy visit to the market lamented the loss incurred courtesy of the inferno.

The Royal father who was represented by the Dandarman of Bichi, District Head of Bichi, Alhaji Abdulhamid Ado Bayero said he was disturbed by the news of the unfortunate incident.

The Emir said that the Badume market is one of the biggest markets within Bichi Emirate, therefore the Emirate will embark on efforts to upgrade the market.

He appealed to Bichi Local Government Council and the state governments to offer emergency aid to the victims of the inferno.

The Royal father prayed that the Almighty Allah will bring succor to the victim and protect the emirate from witnessing future reoccurrence.

The Vice Chairman of Bichi Local Government, Alhaji Idris Muhammad who took the monarch around the affected areas in the market said the local government has set up a panel to investigate the root cause of the incident.

Alhaji Muhammad further disclosed that a serious investigation will be carried out to find out what led to the incident, pledging that finding a lasting solution against future occurrences will be given paramount attention.

Special prayers were conducted to seek Allah’s forgiveness and repose for the soul of those that lost their lives in the incident.
