All Progressive Congress (APC) Youth Group in Jigawa state has berated the People Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for allegedly playing politics with the Jigawa flood disaster.
The Chairman of the Group and also Jigawa State Secretary, Tinibu/Shitma Grassroot Independent Campaign Council, Comrade Sale Muhammad Birniwa made the allegation while speaking to newsmen a day after Atiku’s visit to the state.
Comrade Birniwa noted that Jigawa state has been experiencing floods over the years but the former vice president never sent even a sympathy message to the victims or the state.
“We must fault Atiku for choosing this time of mourning to indirectly launch his political campaign in the state, this is morally wrong.
“We are equally drawing the attention of the good people of Jigawa state not to vote PDP and all its candidates because their mission is inhuman and unpatriotic,” he alleged
The group however carried brooms and swept Hadejia city streets for what they term cleaning the dirt and menace brought to the state by the PDP presidential candidate.
During his visit to the state, Atiku donated the sum of N50 million to assist flood victims in the state.
