CP Kolo Yusuf has assumed duty as the 32nd Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State.
He assumed duty on Monday and assured residents of the state of his unalloyed commitment to the protection of the lives and property of the citizens.
The State Command’s spokesperson, SP Mohammed Shehu in a statement said the CP is seeking the support and collaboration of the people to tackle crime and criminality in the state.
According to the statement, CP Kolo warned all criminal elements to renounce their activities or face dire consequences.
The new CP was born in 1968 in Majiko Village of Edati Local Government Area of Niger State.
He holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Abuja, as well as a Masters’s Degree in Crime Management and Prevention from the Bayero University Kano.
CP Kolo also has a Doctorate in International Relations.
