Tens of Thousands of Kebbi Indigenes Pull Support for Gwandu in Abuja

Tens of thousands of Abuja-based Kebbi Indigenes have thrown massive support for the All-Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship candidate in Kebbi State at an event held by politicians on Thursday in Abuja.

The event which was attended by all Kebbi Federal workers and politicians at an event center gathered a mammoth crowd with the political elites and relevant stakeholders with the aim of streamlining and strategizing how the party will win the 2023 general election in the State.

Delivering his welcome address, the leader of the Abuja-based Kebbi Indigenes movement, Alhaji Aminu Maizinare assured the leadership of the party that they are ready to give the APC millions of votes in order to win the 2023 general elections.

He explained that the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Nasiru Idris Kaura Gwandu is their brother and they will do anything humanely possible not to disappoint him and his supporters.

“Nasir is a gentle and honest man, he as the political wheel to lead and govern the state to the greater high, is a man of integrity and faithlessness, he can also change the fortune of the people,” he said.

Also speaking, the House of Representatives member representing Suru/Bagudo Federal Constituency of Kebbi State, and the Chairman House Committee on Constituency Projects, Hon. Bello Kaoje thanked the Kebbi Abuja-based members for endorsing Dr. Nasiru Idris for Governor and told them that they will never regret voting for him.

He added that Nasiru’s choice as the Kebbi APC governorship candidate has brought glamour to the party and state at large.

He appealed to stakeholders to use their wisdom and ensure the success of the party.

Earlier, the former Chairman Bagudu/Buhari 4+4 campaign, and the leader of Bola Ahmed Tinubu campaign movement, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant commended the Abuja-based people for rallying around and supporting their brother, adding that their decisions had shown a lot of love, and unity in the state.

“Am happy with the number of people I see in this hall; I wish you people will give us massive votes with blessings that can lead us to win the 2023 election in the state and Nigeria at large,” he added.

In his remarks, the APC governorship hopeful, Dr. Nasiru Idris Kaura Gwandu expressed appreciation for the love the Abuja-based Kebbi indigenes showed him and assured them of his commitment to developing the state.

“This movement is not only for me, but it is also for everyone here. I need your support and cooperation in winning the forthcoming general election. Vote APC from top to bottom,” he said.
