National Assembly Member Representative Sokoto South, Sokoto North (PDP) Federal Constituency, Abubakar Abdullahi has donated drugs and medical facilities to Primary Health Clinic Mabera, and 6 blocks of classrooms to 3 Primary Schools in the constituency aimed to boost health care delivery and enhanced school enrolments.
The donated items were presented to the Chairman Sokoto South Local Government Council, Alhaji Faruk Sawidi at the premises of the Clinic for the benefit of the community.
Honorable Abdullahi also said the gesture will be continuous to ease hardship experienced by the community in accessing health-care facilities.
The lawmaker also handed over six newly constructed classrooms two each primary school at Tafida Aminu, Yahaya Nawawi Lizzamiya School and Rumbu Primary school at Kofar Kware in Sokoto North and Sokoto South constituency.
He said the donated classrooms and healthcare facilities are part of his constituency intervention projects.
The classrooms which were constructed under the Federal Government /Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) intervention ZIP 2021 Program.
The classrooms handed over to the Sokoto North, Sokoto South Local Government Council Chairmen for onward use to improve primary school education in their respective areas.
The State PDP Chairman, Alhaji Bello Goronyo represented by his Vice Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad (FC) inaugurated and handed over the projects to the two Council Chairmen.
Drugs and other medical accessories donated to the clinic includes hospital beds and beddings, Cold drugs Storing facilities, Motorbicycle Blood pressure testing machines among others
