NFF - Abba Yola

Jamilu Uba Adamu.

It is pertinent to say the present Chief of Staff and former Kano Pillars FC Chairman Alhaji Abba Yola (Ciroman Yola) stands shoulder high and above the rest, especially considering his credentials and experience in grassroots football development over the years.

He possesses all the right qualities and experience needed for the Job.

In noting, Abba Yola has Experimental Knowledge:

The NFF job is for the tested and trusted. Alh. Abba Yola is a former principal officer in the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports; Zonal Sports Coordinator (Zone 7 Minna); former Head of Public Relations and Protocol of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports.

He was a former Chairman of Kano Pillars FC – in fact, under his watch, Kano Pillars won the NPFL.

Secondly, Abba Yola is a Bridge Builder:

He is someone who can accommodate others and carry everybody along.

I can vividly remember when Alh. Abba Yola lost the 2014 election against the incumbent. He was the first person among the contenders to congratulate him and extended a hand of friendship.

He also has an Undiluted Integrity:

Yola, to those who know him or work with him, can testify that he is open-minded and available to all

He is a man of his words, as his words are his bond.

Succinctly, Abba Yola has nothing to hide.
