A high-class traditional ruler in Oyo State, the Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Abdulganiyu Salawudeen, Ologunebi Ajinese 1, is dead.
The monarch who has been receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital for months died on Sunday, at the age of 62.
Stallion Times gathered that the Oba Salawudeen died on Sunday, July 24, at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
The Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Salawudeen ascended the throne in 2007.
Amid the monarch’s death, traditionalists are said to have commenced burial rites around the ancient town.
