Barely less than 20 hours after returning from Saudi Arabia, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has sworn in a new Commissioner and four Special Advisers.
The swearing-in took place at the state government council chamber in the presence of council members and other well-wishers.
Speaking to the new appointees, Governor Badaru has charged them to fear God and also put Jigawa state people in their minds while discharging the new responsibilities given to them.
He noted that the new appointment is in line with his administration policy on delivering effective public service, and promised more such appointments.
In a press statement signed by special advisers to the governor on Media and Public Relations, Comrade Habibu Nuhu Kila said, the new commissioner Hon Auwal Dalladi Sankara was appointed as Special Duties and also to oversee the affairs of the State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The statement added that the other appointees are Ahmad Garba MK, Special Advisers for Political Affairs, Ayuba M. Ayuba Special Adviser on Agriculture, Baba Nasara, Special Adviser Due Process and Garba Halilu.
