UBEC, SUBEB Flags-off National Personnel Audit 2022 in Kebbi

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) in collaboration with the Kebbi state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) is set to conduct a national personnel audit for 2022, data on infrastructure structures across the primary and junior secondary schools in the state.

Addressing the participants at the stakeholders meeting on the conduct of the Kebbi state national personnel audit, the state chairman of SUBEB, Professor Suleiman Khalid said Kebbi state has the best information technology for databases.

He disclosed that the state has an up-to-date number of all of its activities such as enrollment of pupils in both primary and junior secondary schools, number of workforces, schools, integrated schools as well buildings facilities, and number of pupils enrolled of both genders.

“Therefore, in 2022 the exercise will be an easy one in Kebbi state SUBEB because all the necessary data needed for the exercise is readily available via our website”

Professor Khalid further said the idea of the exercise was a welcome development as to have a complete update of educational activities.

He, however, called on all the local government education committee chairmen headed by university professors and the education secretary to give maximum cooperation to the National Committee to ensure the successful conduct of the exercise.

Speaking earlier, on the overview and objectives of NPA 2022 the Team Leader of the UBEC delegation Mr Onoja Onuche said the team would visit all the 21 local government Education Authorities and examine the school facilities, and classrooms, number of pupils enrollment, workforce, toilet facilities, among others.

Adding that with accurate data of the audit 2022, it will give them a view of which area needs to be strengthened.

He, therefore, appealed to all the stakeholders to cooperate with the committee to ensure only correct and accurate data is recorded.
