Kano State Governor, Abudullahi Umar Ganduje has appointed Ibrahim Galadima as the Acting Chairman of Kano Pillars Football Club as part of routine exercise in sports administration in the state.
Galadima, the Chairman of the Kano State Sports Commission replaces Surajo Shuaibu Yahaya who was before now, the Chairman, of Kano Pillars Fc.
A statement, Wednesday, by Ganduje’s spokesperson, Abba Anwar quoted him saying, “As Kano Pillars is facing more competition in National Premier League (NPL) it will be good to have leadership that could perfectly lead the Club.”
“Ibrahim Galadima, Chairman of Kano State Sports Commission, will now replace the current Chairman of Kano Pillars FC, Surajo Shu’aibu Yahaya, in an acting capacity, before the appointment of a substantive Chairman,” governor Ganduje reveals.
According to the statement, the appointment is with immediate effect.
