Emir of Kano Departs for Kingdom of Morocco

His Highness, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has departed to the Kingdom of Morocco on a week-long official visit at the invitation of King Mohammed VI.

A statement by Emir’s Palace disclosed that during the visit, His Highness will undertake a series of official engagements with the Moroccan Authorities, including meetings with members of the Business Community and religious leaders.

His Highness and entourage will also visit several Moroccan major cities such as Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, and the holy city of Fes among others.

The visit will culminate with a courtesy call on His Majesty, King Mohammed VI, by the Emir who is expected back in Nigeria early next week.

Those on His Highness’s entourage include Alhaji Ahmed Ado Bayero, Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida, and the District Head of Kumbotso, Amb. Ahmed Umar, Dan Malikin Kano, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matawalle, Talban Kano,

Others are Alhaji Magaji Galadima, Kachallan Kano, and a group of distinguished Businessmen from within and outside the Kano Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture – KACCIMA.
