2022 Hajj: Gov. Yahaya Bello charges Kogi pilgrims to strictly adhere to Saudi Arabia’s laws

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has called on pilgrims from the state for the 2022 Hajj exercise to behave themselves very well in the Holy Land, in line with Hajj rules and regulations.

He made the remarks while addressing the pilgrims at the Hajj camp in Abuja, Sunday.

Governor Yahaya Bello also urged the pilgrims to assist one another.

“Assist the elderly, the weak, and those who are not very conversant with the area.

“It is my fervent prayers that Almighty Allah will take you safely to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

He warned against anyone escaping from their camps, adding that “Nigeria is a very good country, pray for the progress and development of Kogi state and Nigeria as a whole.”

Governor Yahaya Bello then directed that each pilgrim should be given $100 dollars, which he said is in keeping with the tradition of his late mother.

Reacting, HRH, Alh Ahmed Tijany Muhammad Anaje the Amirul Hajj for Kogi State for 2022, thanked Governor Bello for all his assistance to the pilgrims.

He assured that the pilgrims will pray for the peace, progress, and security of Kogi state and Nigeria

He prayed to Almighty Allah to guide and protect the Governor and his team.
